Gynostemma extract uses Gynostemma Gynostemma saponins as active ingredients, and is composed of a group of active ingredients, including more than 140 kinds of monomer components, mainly Gynostemma Gynostemma saponins, which are named as Gynostemma saponins I~LXXVIII, and some of them are Ginsenosides Rb1, Rb3, Rd, and panaxadiol, 2α-hydroxypanaxadiol, 2α,19-dihydroxy-12-deoxypanaxadiol, etc. some standards use ginsenoside Rb1 as the index component for the content determination of its components.
